As we told you a couple of weeks back, there were some changes going on, and we are ready to give out a bit of info about them right now!!
First of all Abz has decided to change his stage name *again*. As from now he will be known as Abz Love. We're liking the new name and just hope there will be no comparations with Courtney Love!
And second, Abz has already recorded what might be his come back single!! A version of Mel Torme's song "Comin Home Baby". Most of you probably don't know the song, since it was a hit back in 1963, so head over here to have a listen. We surely can't wait to hear Abz' version!

All last month we have heard how Abz has been working in the studio and fans have been hoping to hear something new from him, but it can't all be just work! So as from today Abz is in Greece with a few friends enjoying the weather. Have fun!

Recently we told you that Abz was away on holidays in Thailand, and it looks like this wasn't enough for him! Abz has gone away to Cannes, and the question in everyone's mind right now is, for how long this time? We hope he enjoys his time there, and PLEASE next time bring us with you! We're in need of a holiday! :)

The question on everyone's lips for months has, of course, been “Where's Abs?” The ex-star of 5ive had a brief solo career but has been absent from our lives for too long. You'll all be pleased to know that Abs attended the Elle Style Awards this month, and that his Surbiton Shizzle accent is even more Ali G than ever. And his mobile phone number ends in five 5s.

19th May 2007 - World Of Five

"It is with deep regret that FIVE today announce that their comeback is no more. The band have decided to call it a day, seven months after reforming. They would like to apologise to all their fans throughout the world for any disappointment caused. Despite considerable broadcast interest in a reunion television series being secured, an album being half-way completed and a world tour in the final stages of confirmation, Ritchie, J, Abz and Scott feel that they cannot continue together.
A huge amount of hard work and effort went into the bands' reformation, but with the state of the music business as it is and with decent record deals being so difficult to procure, the band were really left with no other option than to split.
It is hoped that the new tracks the band have recorded will be available for digital download in the very near future."

NOTE: Well, this came as no surprise to some of us, since we knew a former Five member was working on a solo carreer for more than 3 weeks. Nope, sorry it's not Abz unfortunately :( But there a rumours of him planning on working on something so let's wait and hope for the best!

7th May 2007 - Soccer Six

Finally Soccer Six official website announced their line-up for this years events, and of course they teamed up our Five guys for the charity events! Five are expected to appear at both events, on Sunday 20th May in West Ham United Football Club (buy tickets here) and Monday 28th May in Wrexham Football Club (buy tickets here). Oh what a chance to see Abz running around in shorts again *grins* We will keep you updated with the news! LASTEST NEWS: Unfortunately Abz won't be at the Soccer Six events. Only Scott will be there :(

Various sources on the web are claiming that Abz is currently working on a solo album. Quite a shock considering all the Five fans are waiting for news on the band's first release since they announced they got back together SEVEN months ago. On Sunday Mirror we can read:
"IT ABS TO BE A HIT - ABS Breen was always the edgy one in the boyband 5ive and Mutya Buena tried to liven up the Sugababes when she was in the girlband.
Abs, well-lubricated by beer at my party, told me he'd recorded a track with Mutya last week for his next solo album.
What a perfect collaboration!"

The time fans feared has come again! lol Abz has recently got himself a new tattoo on his neck, apparently it's some kind of word, but as of yet there are no pictures of it. On the PopJustice Weekly Mail we could read:
THE NEW FIVE SONGS ARE NOT WORTH THE FUSS - Take That are Number One this week. Take That fans grew into women in their late twenties who like harmless ballads and men in shiny suits.
It is good to see that Five have ignored this enormously profitable demographic and veered uncontrolably into a late nineties 'nu-metal' sound.
We don't wholly recommend you listen to the new songs on their MySpace page but it is a free country."

Both, Abz and bandmate Scott will be appearing on a BBC show around Easter time. The name of the show will probably be "The Most Annoying Songs We Hate To Love" and we are dying to watch this. Remember the great job Abz did presenting "The Class Of 2000"? Better be glued to the TV so you don't miss this!

This is the moment we been waiting for for years! TWO brand new songs of Five will be available to listen to on Five's myspace tonight! You can't miss this chance!

Abz was one of the celebs karting in aid of The National Austistic Society in London today. Looking as hot as always, he turned up for the event hosted by his mate Rick Parfitt Jr and did his share for the cause. By the way, we are LOVING the scarf! ;)

Abz and bandmates J, Scott and Ritchie are currently trying to find a record label to release those fine songs they have been working on. As a little teaser we can tell you that their style changed a bit from the old Five sound, they are now a bit more rockie *remember Ritchie's solo?* But surely there is still a couple of old Abz-J raps that we so much love. YAY!

The guys from Five wrote a little nice message to update us on what's going on with their album:
